one-to-one coaching
Ready to dive into photography but not sure where to begin? Whether it's catching a glimpse of a curious red squirrel or framing a jaw-dropping mountain view, my photography coaching is all about making your first steps feel exciting, relaxed, and full of discovery.

These sessions are designed especially for beginners—no pressure, no jargon, just good vibes and hands-on guidance. We'll take it one step at a time, turning all those buttons and settings into tools you’ll feel comfortable using. You’ll learn how to spot a great shot, play with natural light, and capture images that actually feel like what you saw and experienced.

REMEMBER

As with any photography adventure in Scotland, keep these safety precautions in mind:
-
Weather Awareness: Scotland’s weather can change rapidly. Dress in layers and bring waterproof clothing. Be prepared for rain, wind, or sudden temperature drops.
-
Terrain: Some locations involve uneven terrain, rocky paths, or slippery surfaces. Wear appropriate footwear with good traction.
-
Wildlife: Scotland is home to various wildlife. Respect their space and observe from a safe distance.
-
Tides and Coastal Areas: If photographing along the coast, be aware of tides. Don’t get caught in rising waters. Check tide schedules beforehand.
-
Cliffs and Edges: Some viewpoints are near cliffs or steep edges. Exercise caution and stay away from unstable areas.
-
Navigation: If exploring off the beaten path, carry a map, GPS device, or smartphone with offline maps. Familiarize yourself with the area.
-
Group Etiquette: Listen to instructions and follow group guidelines. Look out for fellow participants and help each other.
