This workshop invites you to immerse yourself in the awe-inspiring beauty of Skye, from the mystical Old Man of Storr to the captivating Quiraing, each location promising breathtaking scenes that will leave you spellbound.

Over the course of two days, we'll explore some of Skye's most iconic locations and hidden gems, providing endless opportunities to create stunning images. Picture yourself standing at the edge of a cliff, capturing the ruins of a castle high above, or photographing the serene, mirror-like waters of a loch at dawn. Each moment spent in this dramatic landscape will inspire your creativity and leave you with unforgettable memories.

I will be there to provide guidance and advice on everything from composition to camera settings, ensuring you get the most out of each shot. While a small degree of knowledge about your camera is required, my goal is to help you refine your skills and bring your photographic vision to life. The personalised attention means you’ll receive tailored tips and techniques, enhancing your ability to capture the essence of Skye’s beauty.

Terrain: Some locations involve uneven terrain, rocky paths, or slippery surfaces. Wear appropriate footwear with good traction.
-
Wildlife: Scotland is home to various wildlife. Respect their space and observe from a safe distance.
-
Tides and Coastal Areas: If photographing along the coast, be aware of tides. Don’t get caught in rising waters. Check tide schedules beforehand.
-
Cliffs and Edges: Some viewpoints are near cliffs or steep edges. Exercise caution and stay away from unstable areas.
-
Navigation: If exploring off the beaten path, carry a map, GPS device, or smartphone with offline maps. Familiarize yourself with the area.

Remember, safety enhances the overall experience of any trip.
