Immerse yourself in the dramatic landscapes of Glencoe with my exclusive photography workshop, designed to capture the essence of this iconic Scottish glen. This hands-on experience offers the opportunity to photograph some of Glencoe’s most iconic locations, as well as some hidden gems. With its towering mountains, flowing waterfalls, and serene valleys, Glencoe provides a stunning backdrop for a diverse range of photographic compositions.
During the workshop, we’ll dive deep into the fundamentals of landscape photography. Learn how to compose compelling images, master exposure settings, focus accurately, and effectively use live view and filters. Additionally, we’ll tackle any other photographic challenges that arise during our shoot. With a limit of just three participants, you can be assured of ample one-on-one time to refine your skills and get personalised feedback.
Be prepared for the ever-changing Scottish weather and the rugged terrain by bringing high-quality waterproof clothing and sturdy footwear. The workshop includes snacks and drinks, providing a chance to recharge while discussing your progress, sharing insights, and addressing any specific areas you wish to improve. There will also be a lunch stop at a local Visitor Centre where you can purchase something warm to eat.
Whether you’re looking to enhance your technical skills or simply immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of Glencoe, this workshop promises an enriching and unforgettable experience.

-
Wildlife: Scotland is home to various wildlife. Respect their space and observe from a safe distance.
-
Tides and Coastal Areas: If photographing along the coast, be aware of tides. Don’t get caught in rising waters. Check tide schedules beforehand.
-
Cliffs and Edges: Some viewpoints are near cliffs or steep edges. Exercise caution and stay away from unstable areas.
-

Remember, safety enhances the overall experience of any trip.
